Southfield-Lathrup's 2010 wings are getting attention

In Lathrup Village, Michigan, Head coach Mike Avery has a couple of 2010 wings who are coming off impressive spring/summer sessions. Both are drawing attention from the A.C.C., Big Ten, Horizon, and M.A.C. Conferences.

The first is 6-foot-6 lefty Bryan Coleman, a comfortable perimeter player who can heat up from deep. He's a late bloomer and jumping from the freshman team to varsity last year might have thrown his confidence off a little, but he managed. He's grown a couple inches since then and he is adding stock to a solid 2010 class in Michigan.

The second is 6'-foot-5 Roy Marble Jr., who uses his natural abilities and frame to get the job done. Roy is good at finding the open spots on the court to knock down the open shot and also stepping out to shoot the three. Defensively, his length and ability to anticipate causes plenty of turnovers for the other teams.

Roy and Bryan both play for The Family's U16 squad and have received plenty of exposure running for the Nike sponsored squad.

Southfield-Lathrup's schedule is very competitive as they compete in the O.A.A. Division I and tip off twice this year against Division I squads like Clarkston, Oak Park, Pontiac Northern, Pontiac Central, and Southfield. More than likely they will compete against a quality opponent in the Motor City Roundball Classic.

More on this duo's recruiting and team as the season progresses.
