Desmar Jackson, High Major and smooth as icing on a wedding cake!

Last Wednesday I ventured up to the Warren Harding 4-team scrimmage with Garfield Heights, Massillon Jackson and Lakewood St. Ed's and after watching 3 hours of highly competitive hoops I walked away with a new light for Warren Harding's 6-foot-4combo guard Desmar Jackson. This kid can flat out go, yes his left hand is shaky, yes his shot is mechanical, but his vision is infrared, his athleticism is Olympic and he's smooth as fresh icing on a wedding cake! The thing about Desmar's silent recruitment is he really wasn't out during the open months.He attended a few events, but HE was sidelined with academic issues and attended summer school during the July Period. He has been plagued with words such as "lazy,questionable and a poor student." I can honestly say I haven't seen a better athlete in Ohio's 2009 class and that includes Jon Smith from Grove City. The question is...will Desmar ever put it all together? He is soo explosive that you don't realize he just dunked on your face or sent your shot back into section C until the student section reminds you who's house it is! He also can thread the needle with pin-point passes along with a inside out, retreat and go attack series. I am going to sum the critics up right now...Desmar Jackson will be a star if someone can polish his downsides!
