According to sources close to the situation, 6'11 DaShonte Riley, a senior center for nationally ranked Detroit Country Day, made a commitment this week to the Orangeman after an official visit to Syracuse in mid-February. Riley had previously given a verbal commitment to Georgetown but that was retracted this past fall. Riley will be counted on to add defense and rebounding to Jim Boeheim's 2-3 zone.
