6'5+ 235 pound te/wr Dion Sims gave his verbal commitment to Michigan State on Tuesday. Sims is a dual athlete that was being recruited on the mid-major level on the hard-wood chose the Big Ten school with a realization that he might have the opportunity to play both sports in school.
Sims has been amongst the top of Michigan's 2009 class in many basketball publications since his freshman year but his physical development over the last four years and production on the grid iron gained high major football interest.
