Anton: Worthy of Praise

When we looked up the name "Anton" we were not surprised to see that the origin of the name comes from Latin history. What we also found out is the name is a indicator of Praise. 6-foot-7, 2011, Cleveland Central Catholic small forward Anton Grady fits that mold. Grady who doesn't play for a national AAU program during the summer months or a powerhouse high school program can only be found at St. Stan's Social Hall on Baxter Avenue and East 65th, which is on the east side of Cleveland during the winter months. Grady who is a Hybrid/do-it-all forward, is one of the premier prospects in Ohio's 2011 class. Anton is not going to wow you with his off the ball screening, ball side basket cuts or block to block post work, though he will wow you with his ability to create while having the ball in his hands and has shown the ability to knock down the 20 footer along with a mid-range elbow jumper. Grady who is blessed with length, athleticism and a natural build beyond his age, still has plenty to work do before you would consider him a guarantee product. Grady needs to work on his on-court body language as he picks up tacky fouls from wearing an emotional game face at all times, which could cause some to think he has an attitude problem. Grady who is capable of beating big men off the dribble has skyscraper potential if he can figure out how to funnel his emotions along with working without the ball in his hands. Time will tell for this youngster…
