Lakewood St. Ed's vs. Cleveland Central Catholic

On Saturday St. Edwards traveled across town to East 67th to take on Cleveland Central Catholic at St. Stan's social hall. A game that was filled with emotions from both sides of the floor. Central Catholic pulled out a 3 point victory in over-time as Lakewood St. Edwards' 6-foot-8 Junior Matt Stainbrook missed a last chance shot to send the game into double overtime. Lakewood was led by sophomore power guard Delbert Love with 18 points and Cleveland Central Catholic was lead by do it all sophomore hybrid foward Anton Grady with 17 points. Zach Price was in early foul trouble and was not effective until late after Grady picked up his 4th foul.Stainbrook played solid with put-backs, duckins and using his skill set to create for others in the post. St. Ed's who plays Akron SVSM will get a chance to get by on track this Friday as they travel to Akron. CCC plays Cleveland Benedctine in a huge battle considering CCC beat both VASJ and St. Edward's this weekend.
