There were many great games and matchups set for this past Friday, December 19, but with over 10 inches of snowing blanketing much of Michigan those games were cancelled.
Some games like the matchup between Benton Harbor at Kalamazoo Central were rescheduled for the next best day, Monday, December 22, while others will have to wait until January.
The Lansing Sexton- Lansing Eastern game is one that will have to wait until January 6, 2009. That's good news for Sexton as Inside Prep Sports found out Saturday night that the Big Reds' 6'5" senior wing Drew Valentine has been cleared to play when the New Year rolls around. The future Oakland University Golden Grizzlie is coming off a knee injury sustained on the football field in September.
