This past Friday IPS took in the South vs. Scioto game, the game was somewhat close through the first half of the game and then Scioto blew the doors open and went on a monster run to lead by 24 points late during the 2nd half. South went on a run with senior Jason Davis (Walsh) and sophomore star Traevon Jackson going on a 16-5 run in the 3rd quarter to grind the game within 6 points. Traveon Jackson fouled out of the game with 3:58 left in the 4th quarter to cut the water off and gave uncle mo back to Scioto. Bradley McDougal and Jamere Mills both displayed solid efforts with their inside-out performance for Scioto as Jason Davis and Traveon Jackson scored 18 and 15for the losers. Freshman prospect Jalen Robinson of South did not play well and looked nervous while bobbling passes and traveling with the ball. Robinson who looked affected while being on the road and playing under an intense student section will clearly learn from this silent display as Jalen is one of the the top freshman prospects in the state.
